Hello, welcome and thanks for following along on this new journey, well actually an old journey that I’m just bringing back to life. Let me start by introducing myself if you don’t already know me, and if you do, oh well maybe you will learn something new : )
I’m Stephany Dedman, a wife, and a girl mom! I absolutely adore my husband (Stephen) he is my rock when I don’t want to be an adult or haven’t had coffee yet in the morning. I’m definitely not a morning person. I have to have coffee, and my sweet tea when I first wake up. I could really care less for the food but I must have my drinks!
I have always loved photography. There is something special about capturing a specific moment in time to look back on for many generations. I have had the studio, but I’m thrilled now to be flexible and can meet my clients and be more convenient for them. Let’s face it, we live in a busy world and getting that perfect family photo session or newborn session is hard. I’m just trying to take the stress away and make it fun!
Our girls are awesome and keep me busy everyday. If you’re a mom you know what I mean, but I love that they need me. We homeschool because I cried dropping my first born off every single day until 3rd grade, yup I’m that crazy mom!
A fun fact about our family (not just me). We have moved ALOT!! The ministry has taken us to many places and we have met some wonderful people, friends and family through it. We decided, with our girls getting older and knowing that life is short, to sell everything and live full time in our RV… I told you I was crazy!! But through two years on the road, that journey was the best! Seriously, I can’t even explain how this shaped our family for everything good. God was with us every path we took and it was AMAZING! You can follow that journey here!
But….before all that we lived in a huge house with a pool, a beautiful lake, and more space than we knew what to do with. Remember it’s just the four of us. Soooo… that’s when I started my photography business. I loved it!! I started out with the full studio, lights, backdrops props, etc., everything I thought I needed. It took up a lot of the space. That was 10 years ago, and I’ve missed doing what I loved, but I finally realized I don’t have to have all that space and stuff.
Our journey has taken us to many different addresses, different states, and different careers, but I have finally gotten back to doing what I love, photography! I hope you will stick around and follow this part of my journey.
